To: You, From: Me is a collective exhibition honoring the art and labor of handmade gift giving. Giving thoughtful gifts is a difficult art form that requires a deep understanding of its recipient. Being a maker can aid in this endeavor. But this labor of love usually goes unrecognized outside of private exchanges. 

Curated by Colleen RJC Bratton, Tania Colette B., and Forrest Perrine To: You, From: Me brings eleven artists (Jess Artigliere, Gretchen Bennett, Kelly Bjork, Mel Carter, Indigo Free, Cameron Hostetter, Matthew Offenbacher, Brandon Vosika, Emma Kates-Shaw, Anton Seder, and Kayla Waldorf (Club Sandwich)) together. These artists are known in their communities as excellent gift givers, healers, empaths, and activists. For the show, each artist has created something for a cherished person in their life. This gesture, whatever the medium, is displayed here as a celebration of giving. 

The night prior to the public opening, a private dinner will be held in the space for the artists and recipients in which the gifts will be opened and then displayed in the space. A public gift wrapping event with free materials will be held Sunday December 15th from 1-4pm
