Soil Member Claire Johnson returns to the backspace with recent work exploring the night sky and its constellations, as seen from our home planet earth.

This work is a meditation on the vastness of the universe and our connection to it. As we move through space in our own little galaxy we often look up at the stars feeling insignificant and yet a precious part of the whole. These paintings hope to embody those feelings.
