An exhibition of work from SOIL’s newest members.
The making of art is no coincidence – years of practice and intent shape the work that artists produce. We are the new members of Seattle’s SOIL Gallery and this show was not an accident.
With over 35 years of dedicated art practice we work as storytellers, explorers, chaos makers, activists, interpreters and documentarians. Our art practices weave between media, expressing the aspects of humanity we find most interesting. Playful colors, found objects, intricate constructions and conceptual processes amass a body of work that presents itself honestly and believes you don’t need to be serious to make a difference. We hope that you are able to join us for an opening reception on First Thursday and a closing reception with artists’ talks on May 27th, 2016.
