Two works by Julia Heineccius, made in two cities over two months, divide the SOIL backspace in half.
They (the objects) and she (the artist) are somewhat concerned with the conflation of the handmade and the ready-made, the seduction of industrial processes, and the quiet comfort of staring at a grid.
