Continually engaged with scientific themes, Nola Avienne’s latest work, Brain Flow, is inspired by MRA scans (magnetic resonance angiography) which focus on blood vessels. In a series of large-scale watercolors, Brain Flow maps the calligraphic language of circulation in the brain.
