Reception / Thursday, October 01, 6–8pm

The construction of identity and development of self are conditioned by the places we call home. We surround ourselves with objects and create memories in these places that affect who we are, and who we may become. Cold Floors//Warm Walls is an exhibition that brings together five artists each working in divergent media connected through the amorphous idea of domestic space. Works spanning a spectrum of digital collage, adornment, sculpture, and installation act as a conduit to ideas of home, which probe the queer ways individuals inhabit different locations.
