Between Places

October 01 – 31, 2015
Reception / Thursday, October 01, 6–8pm

All three artists in this exhibition create work that mediates the physical and psychological spaces between people and landscape. While Boonstra’s, Fitzsimon’s, and Myers’ creative practices are distinctly different from each other, all three touch on issues of place, home, separation, absence, and distance. The work, while lacking a clear and direct reference to human form, is wholly about people. It is about our physical and psychological experience of place; the places where we are, the places we create, and the places we long to be.
