How Does Grass Grow?

Chauney Peck

This exhibit is a series of quasi- experiments, where Peck asks a questions and answers with a simple construction or drawing.

Inspired by questions that are unanswerable, Peck begins where science ends. Using simple everyday materials, such as water balloons, cardboard and Styrofoam, she creates models of grass and mountains. Wonderment and humor appears as she uses human made objects to recreate nature's sophistication and efficiency.
