This exhibition includes work by Thom Heileson, Natalie Jenkins, Philip LaDeau, Paula Rebsom, and Joana Stillwell, new members of SOIL working across photography, video, drawing, and sculpture. The artists incorporate and examine technology in their work, specifically how it mediates and records human experiences and behaviors within wild, urban, and domestic environments. Concerned with these environments physical and subliminal impact on their inhabitants, the artists document how they intersect and transform over time, ultimately influencing our collective and individual existence.
SOIL receives support from 4Culture and the Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs
