In the Backspace: Joana Stillwell: 160 Hours

Start             5.7.15
End               5.30.15
Reception    5.7.15, Thursday, 6-8 pm

One second.
One minute.
One hour.
One day.
One week.
One month.
One year.

Blocks of time continually pass. Joana Stillwell’s 160 Hours is an attempt to confine art-making within a block of time. It is a way to think about notions of productivity, failure, and legitimacy, as Stillwell rationalizes, scrutinizes, and humorizes her art-practice.
