Oriental / Occidental features new work by Saya Moriyasu. Inspired by antique malls' unlikely pairings, Moriyasu creates wall sculptures with Asian maidens and French poodles. The work is also fueled by her interest in chinoiserie, the persistent style that was wholly European with the inspiration entirely oriental.
