In the Backspace, SOIL member Chris Engman will show "Transplant," a new photograph-within-a-photograph that has recently received national and international attention. For this piece, Engman photographed a tree in Western Washington, produced a billboard sized image of that tree, and transplanted it into an environment in Eastern Washington where only grasses and sagebrush grow.
